Cat Ford Coates
Cat is a Portrait Photographer, Educator, and Speaker.
In addition to her local portrait clients in western North Carolina, she has photographed clients in places like Italy, Barcelona, Bali, Munich, Paris, London, New York, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Charleston, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
Cat provides her portrait clients with opportunities to empower themselves and create impactful visual brands, and her mentoring helps her mentees grow into both artists and CEOs.
Cat and her work have been awarded internationally on multiple worldwide platforms and have been featured by affiliates for FOX, NBC, & CBS, as well as in photographic circles with The Portrait Masters, Infinite Color Panel, The Color Lab, Vlada Backdrops (NYC), and is a judge for the largest photography print competition in the world with ICON.

How much does it cost?

How far in advance do I need to book my photography session?
We suggest booking as early as possible; we have limited spots and are booking on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do you provide makeup and hair services?
Yes, we will have a professional hair and makeup artist at our location
What should I wear for my professional portrait session?
For a mixed photoshoot combining boudoir, branding, and portrait photography, preparation is key to making the most of your session. Bring a variety of outfits that align with each style—think professional attire for branding, casual or elegant clothing for portraits, and lingerie or silky robes for boudoir. Don't forget to include accessories such as statement jewelry, scarves, or belts that can enhance each look. Additionally, consider items that represent your personality or profession for branding shots, such as a favorite notebook, laptop, or tools of your profession.
Bring clean, well-maintained shoes to match each outfit, and pack essentials like a strapless bra, nude undergarments, and seamless pieces to avoid visible lines in boudoir shots. If you’d like to incorporate props that have personal meaning or tell a story, feel free to bring those too. Lastly, don’t forget touch-up items such as makeup, hair products, and a brush to ensure you look fresh throughout the shoot.
Don't worry, we will have a full wardobe design zoom call before your session.
How soon do I get my images?
We will have them ready to view about 3 weeks after the WPPI Conference
What if I need to cancel?
No refunds will be given; however, you may transfer your seat to another party when approved by Cat and Ann.
